"Angels may be very excellent sort of folk in their own way, but we, poor mortals in our present state, would probably find them precious slow company." -- Jerome K. Jerome |

I have amassed quite a few friends over the years. Even though I still have close ties to friends from my high-school days, my closest friendships are those I have made in college. The list below is but a small sampler of the many people I know, and further limited to those people with web pages. (If you have a web page and don't see your name on this list, tell me about it! The Group "The Group" began as four prospective freshmen -- architects all around -- sought human company during Orientation one sunny summer. We meshed beautifully and our mutual friendship is still strong -- even though one has defected to journalism. Our troupe has been responsible for many things, most notably Design Inside, an unsuccessful attempt to create a student-run newsletter/magazine for the school of architecture.
Alpha Rho Chi I have met many people though my involvement in Alpha Rho Chi, the co-ed, national social and profesional fraternity for architecture and the allied arts. Fraternity life has shown me how to make valuable friendships with people I would not have associated with otherwise. (Important note: Colin Smith also falls under the APX category but is not listed again.)
...and Others There are many more people I count among my friends who do not fall into the categories above. These are friendships bound not by constant companionship or proximity, but by the true bond of one friend to another.
