Ceremonial daggers such as the one rendered below were not commonly used for open combat. Instead, they were reserved for ceremonial battles in which image was important.

The modeling for this image was done on a 486DX2 PC with AutoCAD Release 10. The model was transferred to and rendered in Autodesk's 3DStudio running on a Dell Pentium PC. Textures scanned from the dagger were used in producing the rendered image. The background is a scanned image of a wooden ring used for weaving and sewing.
